Watch, Then Talk to Me

Campaign Media

The campaign is built one conversation at a time, and this is where some of those conversations live. Videos from the trail, and a new round of photography from the neighborhoods that make up District 28. Watch a clip, look at the faces, then text me what you think.

The District We're Losing And How We Take It Back

Downtown Honolulu, Chinatown, Iwilei, Liliha, Kalihi, and Sand Island — this is home. But too many of the families who built this community are being priced out of staying in it. I'm running for the State House because I believe we can grow and build without losing the people who make this place ours. I want more development — just not at the cost of the families who already live here. I see this district. I see the people in it. And I'm asking for your vote to fight for them.

Bringing Our ʻOhana Home: My Story Running for State House

Why I'm running, in my own words. Growing up here, leaving to learn how this work gets done, and coming home to fight so local families can stay in the place they love.

A longer conversation on the issues facing our district and our islands, and the practical work it takes to keep local families home.

Jay Leno's Garage: Joe Biden's Corvette

More than two guys talking shop about a car. A conversation about the middle class, the bargain that built it, and what happens to a place when working people can no longer afford to live in it.

Where It Started

Fishing at Sand Island with my dad. Mauliola is why I care about restoring real green space for the families who live here now.

In the Neighborhood

Out in the district on a weekend. This is not a place I visit for photos. It's where I buy groceries and walk at night.

Rooted Here

Julia and me. We put our savings into our condo at Kukui Plaza in 2023. We are not going anywhere, and we want that to be possible for everyone.

Neighbors, Not Donors

The people building this campaign with me. Knocking doors, waving signs, signing the petition to get us on the ballot.
